Urologist
Dr. Guilbeau is a native of Denham Springs, Louisiana and received his B.S., Magna Cum Laude, from Louisiana state University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He went on to earn his medical doctorate at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Following this, he completed his Urology residency training at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), American Urologic Association (AUA) and Gold Humanism Honor Society.
He is trained in general urology, men’s health, prosthetics, complex stone disease, endourology, and erectile dysfunction. He has special interest in female incontinence surgery, BPH surgery, minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery for both benign and malignant urologic disease. He has published peer reviewed journal articles and presented at national and regional meetings.
In his free time, Dr. Guilbeau enjoys spending time with his wife and children, watching and cheering on the LSU Tigers in any sport, and playing tennis and golf.
